AIR KNIFE DESIGN

One of the main advantages of MOS air knife design is the fact that thanks to their optimized shape they ensure a narrow airflow of great force and speed.

Air knives operate also as volume amplifiers. Their special blade used for the Coanda effect, which causes that compressed air adheres to the knife surface and by sucking in surrounding air it increases the total volume of the airflow. This way it ensures its integrity further down the stream and a bigger usable volume.

The airflow can be simply regulated and thus optimized for your application. Knives can be delivered with a set of special shims (foils) that adjust the width of the knife aperture and thus influence the dynamic air pressure and its amount.
